INTERPRETING ETHICS TRAINING
Ethics Training for Sign Language Interpreters:- This training entails do’s and don’ts about the professional conduct, skills and behaviour of Deaf and Non-Deaf Sign Language Interpreters.

Often during interpreting, the Deaf user may co-depend on the interpreter due to which the interpreter has to put in extra efforts. Or interpreters may discriminate and oppress Deaf users. This leads to imbalance and inequality. Both the communities want to learn how to work while sustaining equality and balance.

This training includes core norms and themes like behaviour appearance, professional conduct, allyship etc.
